I watch a bunch of detective shows on TV called MURDER IN.... that feature a lot of French destinations....
but unfortunately they are all filmed on the off-season so you miss the charm of the summertime beauty of the coast etc. They are 1 1/2 hour movies that were probably called something else in France but were packaged up as a series to be sold to Prime or ...
I've seen probably 30 of them. Often with the same actors playing different parts.lol
And the theme is almost always some hotshot detective comes into town to solve the murder and they were originally from there or they were once married to someone there and sparks fly then by the end they are in love again...lol

I had the pleasure of visiting Chateau de Chambord and Chateau de Chenonceau in the Loire Valley years ago and was just blown away by the beauty and grandeur both outside and within.
