I’m assuming you’ve read this vs that reviews on these cameras..

Would like t0 know if you have specific questions in mind.
I havent handled Fujis so I’m a bit biased towards Leica. Other than picture quality, what’s important for me is the haptics / design / workability. Does it feel good in the hand and does it make me look forward to taking pictures? Can i easily access features that i need or do i need to go through a lot of embedded menus? Does the camera work well with how i work? Is the overall design intuitive?
As for picture quality, I’d probably look for how they render a particular scene. Since they’re both fixed lens, easy enough to do a side by side shooting s particular scene at the same time if assuming pics are available online or if you can get your hands on both. Maybe it’s possible to rent? In my limited experience, a fuji pic might have more saturation vs a leica pic although the latter is quite dependent on the lens (lux more contrasty than a cron for example) which is not quite an issue here being a fixed lens.
So far i get the impression that your pics favor a bit of saturation which may give me that vibe that you might prefer the fuji over leica right off the box. Also, forgot to ask if a crop vs full frame sensor is an issue to you. Your street shots might favor the leica (full frame) in that with almost twice as much megapixel count and a larger photo footprint, this roughly gives you 2x leeway in post in terms of cropping, editing without degrading output assuming you shoot RAW. Always shoot RAW!
I havent photographed ever since lockdown so take my inputs with a grain of salt

Given the choice and having seen my photography would you recommend a x100v or a Q2 and why?

Thank you for the thoughtful post

Truth be told either is light years from what I currently use. I guess I wonder if the Q2 is easy to take along as opposed to take out. And on the other hand does the x100v have an easy set of control functions or do you need a degree to operate it. And h...
Fuji vs Leica... a tail of two cities

x100v: 26.1 megapixel APS-C sensor, Fujinon 23mm f/2.0 (equivalent: 35mm) Q2: 47.3 megapixel full frame sensor, Summilux 28mm f/1.7 ASPH. Sidebar: the Q2 is available in three variations: Leica Q2; Leica Q2 Daniel Craig x Greg Williams; Leica Q2 Monochrom...

Although I’m not an expert I’ve read many many camera reviews recently when I was updating my own gear. I can’t comment on the “colors” of either one nor can I make this eloquent difference between artistic or creative photography as Casey did But for its...
Good question
By: EinPa : April 26th, 2021-16:33
All my photos are either a Panasonic GF1 micro 4/3 or an iPhone. So I have never had a really good piece of kit. The number 1 priority for me is the ease of carrying something around and the camera not getting in the way of the photo. I spot photos (so I ...
Interesting question ...
By: Cpt Scarlet : April 26th, 2021-09:20
Before replying I refreshed my memory on your photographs. The Fuji x100v is a camera that potentially offers great results without the not inconsiderable financial commitment of the Leica. Taking a Leica into some urban areas could be another considerati...
I use both Fuji X series and Q2
By: xplorer2 : April 26th, 2021-16:49
I have both the Fuji XT3 and Q2 as part of my gear. For interchangeable lenses I gravitate towards the Fuji XT series which I find offer me the good selection of lenses. Your question however is more towards the fixed lens of the Fuji100 vs that of the Q2...
