I agree....will fire the stylist and makeup artist...what were they thinking of???
On a serious note, for fashion photography, it is really less of the photographer than the models ability to bring a certain look/feel into the image, the hair and makeup artists who put in all their effort to prim the models, the lighting assistants that help light the set and than the photographer me just click the shutter. A lot of kudos to the final images actually go to all the supporting crew behind.
Am definitely not a professional..
though in my early photography path and learning I have seriously considered turning pro....but I felt that if do so it will just kill my interest and joy in photography as I will then be coerce into creating images that I may not enjoy/like but pay the b...

Haha LOL....there was these series of amazing fake lashes from Shisedo for creating really dramatic flair
and we thought that it will be a nice headshot
