Drive in the Country, Part 3 Finale

We left off part 2 after seeking a refreshment stop after llama land.

At this point we turned West and headed down out of the mountains. This is near Dudley's, a famous bakery in this area - favored by hungry and thirsty travelers, motorcyclists, etc. And a Pie Shop too.

My wife wants a sweater from this wooly sheep who clearly is not bothered by the cold (in the 40's again) in the field,

Whereas the Camel !@&$%# is having breakfast in his shed

My wife, who is more animal-savvy than I am, says this is a donkey, not a horse.

And this is a horse not a donkey or mule? We did see lots of real obvious horses but I was busy driving and couldn't get photos.

These are sheep and goats she says. I struggle to see the goat with the camera.

Ah, on the right.

and one right in front of us, leading his friend on a merry chase across the enclosure.

We saw two riders on horseback, and I recalled that up the road there is a 2-level crossing -- I mean people-level and horse-level buttons for the crosswalk.

Not long before we are on the highway again, heading west and home, where someone is going to have to clean up the truck after its six hours and 160 mile journey.  The IWC GST performed flawlessly at all elevations.

Thanks so much for joining us!
