I wish I learned earlier how to consider and use pockets of lights as a subject. I am very into this point of view at the moment. There’s a photographer I really admire called Pctavian Carare who has a YouTube channel who is a master of this. I love the perspective because it incorporates decisive moment, managing light, geometry, candids, and street photography all in one. Very difficult but rewarding process. Check out his videos on YouTube. He shoots a Q2.

It's a year or so old by now, but I like his work, thanks for the introduction. Your "Calle Ocho, Little Havana", "back to school", and "Chiaroscuro" are good examples of working with the light... very nice. I guess I don't need to ask how you are enjoyin...

Thanks for great post. I have not (yet) read these books like some others did. Nor am I that far advanced yet to fully grasp all thats possible. What I do know is that looking backwards I feel a transition in how I look at photography. And to me there are...

Worked for O’Keeffe and Stieglitz. I didn’t take much interest in that fact when I was younger and he was still alive and I now wish that I had and asked him about it. Lovely photo
