Makes me think of this...
It is said that the inspiration of Munch for his famous painting "The Scream" was the color of the sky, provoked by the massive release of ashes in the sky by the eruption of volcano Krakatoa in the 1880's. The ashes spread all over the stratosphere, and could be seen everywhere across the world.
I really feel for you guys on the West Coast, hope that you all keep safe, and that the situation can be brought under control quickly. Between Covid and those fires, you guys are having a tough old year.

It was already so sad for the nature, but when human lives are at stake it is much worse
