I am big fan of his Detective Inspector Rebus series, having read all ~23 books in that series... "Westwind", written in 1990, is very slow and taking way too long to finish... approx 70 pages to go ; ) Next up is "The Nickel Boys" by Pulitzer Prize winne...

quite the voracious reader. I need to get back to reading full blown books. Re speed, I guess I am very slow myself, but that means I can pick up on some very good structural writing, and highlight, maybe even record it for later thinking, and use. I find... 

Yes, I read every day, normally 2-3 books a month... e-book when traveling
