The 5167 is a great reference! But the allure of the case design of the nautilus makes it a very compelling choice for your next watch, so I say, go for the 5712! 
However, I find the 5712's dial design a little bottom heavy which is why I chose the 5726 as I feel it has a more balanced design. Thanks Ahmed!

King Nautilus
The best complicated Nautilus to date, alongside the 5980. I prefer it on the strap, as in your photos! In my book and even after Vacheron presented the new Overseas in the SIHH, the Nautilus still remains King, in this category. R
