I always thought that mint Patek leave Switzerland vacuum packed.
Bought my first pre-owned, so never had the chance to break the seal/open the vacuum pack. But I thought it is a granted thing to have when buying new. Isn't it not ? So why is it an Asian preference ? This Only watch Patek , Unlike the Richard Mille RM-38 is mint right ?
It would be more a big deal if the wrapper wasnt there, I feel. (because it means the seal would have been broken, as someone mentioned about the seal)

I didn´t say prefer ...
but Europeans are not that crazy about it. There haven´t been (a lot of) plastic packed watches in stock at regular ADs, before the Asians became imortant customers over here ... ;-)

Every other piece on display is unsealed, unwrapped, and available for inspection. Only PP, sorry to say this...but it spells and smells arrogance to me. Best, Horo
