Patek Philippe

Inspired by Nicolas's recent post of my 5110G, I decided to compare the two WTs in my collection. It is hard to imagine two more different watches. One is refined and the other more exuberant. Both so different...just thought it would be interesting to po...

... and is one, actually. However, a 5110 WT is a very elegant daily companion and less fragile in construction and therefore the preferred choice for daily use.

.....moonphase carries with it an air of romanticism and mystique. Global travel also has that romanticism in it. Basing the watch with that black dial just tops it for me...it is my favourite WT of any.

...but have a soft spot for the anniversary because it is so out of character for PP: if Darth Vader wore a watch, it would be this one. For similar reasons I like the 5712: if Captain Nemo wore a watch that would be it (despite only 60m WR)...(note pleas...

As I understand and can appreciate the 5575... I am having a hard time picturing me wearing the watch... While with the 5110... No problem at all! Best Blomman

The Anniversary more so. Darth killed Obi Wan Kenobi. I'll never forgive him for that.

I have unleashed a monster here. But in truth DV killing Ben did the latter a big favour: as Ben duly warned him just before the fatal swipe, he became much more powerful in death. Am writing to PP with a request for a PuristPro special edition with "Hoth...

I find the 5575G to be a more interesting and alluring watch, especially during daylight hours when the stars and moon are brilliant and captivating. In a darker setting I find those elements and the hands get a little lost. Notwithstanding that, IMHO the...

The 5110/5130 on the one hand, the 5230 being another very different evolution, or this 5575 which is the most different one. Of course the 5131 is another very appealing and distinct interpretation of the famous reference. I must say I love the way black...
