Yellow gold PP's are usually the least valuable
but this YG will probably be as valuable as the rg--while wg will for some time be more valuable than both, until tastes change again...
I think the yg is the most suitable color for this very vintage looking watch... and I've sort of grudgingly admitted to myself that moonphase Pateks look best in yg--despite the fact that yg says 'old man'.

I don't see why it should be. Anyway I am getting mine any time now and it doesn't matter if its most sought after. Its for keeps and I don't want to sell it. To me its the completion of the trilogy 5960 5980 and now 5970. I am waiting patiently for my 50...
I think 5970J is simply Gorgeous....
It looks way more vintage than a 5970G or R. I have a 5970G which I love but I think this 5970J is super desirable..... I think it will be the most sought after Patek since 5970G and R are no longer available but I don't think I will swap my G to a J give...
