Worth the wait... (Patek Philippe 5575G and 5131G inside)
A few days ago I noted that I was flying to the USA for holiday and to collect a few long awaited pieces. I picked up three special watches yesterday that my mother has been holding for many months.
First view was of the boxes with a hint of what lies inside.
I will only comment on the first two and post on the third on the respective JLC forum (perhaps some can guess the watch model from the box).
And here they are...
The lovely 5131G. The dial is exceptional and the case in white gold is my favourite. I waited quite a long time for this piece to come in, and my AD dutifully kept me updated every few months. It arrived some 9 months ago, but I was just now able to collect it...imagine the patience required.
The 5575G as others have posted is quite a spectacular piece. The dial is really wonderful.
Seeing them side by side is quite a treat and they join my 5130G to form quite a cool trio in white gold.
Now to free them from their plastic prisons...
Hope you enjoyed the photos.
Dave
