When you own one
you realize it is indeed one of the best Pateks of all times. It has a complexity, beauty and presence that can easily deal with watches worth 5-10 times as much as the 2526. Ideally go for 1st series as the dials are most complex.
While it is nice on pictures the real life presence is far more impressive still.
