Well, maybe a little inaccurate setup but not that far imho
Let me explain my view on this.
I've just been looking at the numerous 5110 pictures I have on my computer and tried to see what they are showing.
I noticed that this 24-hour ring versus City ring triangle is not a very precise indication as the room between 2 hours is quite small. Hence, I imagine that the number of ring increments or nothes being not that numerous, the time is not precise.
As a side note, I don't think it is meant to be that precise considering the WT setting by the way and is a mere indicator, allowing then to add the minute hand to have the correct time for another zone.
However, for intstance if there are only 4 increments, then you can imagine that the 24-hour ring is perfectly accurate only 4 times in an hour.
Hence, this is not meant to be precise, imho.
Now, when I looked back to you watch and after reading the interesting comments about the hands fixing, I thought that it could be indeed a problem of hands (is your minute hand a little late or is the hour hand a little too early?) or it could be a problem about the 24-hour ring being placed 1 increment too far.
If you look at the placement of the 24-hour ring compared to the Hour gold markers, they seem perfectly aligned. At least considering its scale and the relative precision of such a device.
The problem seems to be more on the Citiy ring side. I would say that this ring is not alligned on your picture (thus the Hong Kong doesn't seem to be placed at 12 o'clock exactly). This is I think the main problem.
What you can do is try to switch to other cities to check. If it does this with every cities, then there is a problem with the city ring placement. You're then free to wait for the next servicing or ask for a return to Patek to correct it.
But maybe that it is just the display that didn't place itself well on this switch. The ring at each button activation, is jumping to the next position. There should be a "stopper" comewhere but this is not that precise I think.
Keep us informed
Best, Mark
