Patek Philippe

Of course Nigel, I agree.

If I were you, I would just like to check one thing prior you give it back.

From your thread about when you got it back, the explanations they gave about the movement going to Geneva while the watch stayed is something I think you should get more information about (I don't really believe it is possible).

The finals questions I would like to have a clear answer to, at your place, is who serviced the whole watch exactly, was it Patek in Geneva for the whole watch, not a local less trained watchmaker etc... In the end, has it been done correctly regarding Patek's standards.

In France, we receive a letter (same with AP, Omega and Zenith I experienced) with all the tasks we wish to have being performed. You didn't have it either.

There is something that is not clear with the AD you gave the watch too imho.

Please, note that these are just guesses and questions from the elements you gave us. Maybe they followed the rules but many questions need answers imho.

Btw, I noticed on your reception thread that the 13 of the 24-H ring looks well placed compared to the hands.

It would be good to ask them those questions and to show the watch to another truted AD you might know in order that he has a look at the watch and gives you his opinion smile

Anyway, this is not a big problem but i understand your concern about the work.

Keep us informed of course.

Best, Mark
