It seems like vintage Patek is more challenging than my usual Omega and JLC. eBay alone will not work

Haha very nice. Love the omega. I have had several Memovoxs, always wanted an E168. But now I'd rather have a 3417.

I initially had the name of the dealer in the post but edited it out as was not sure about forum rules. I went to a bunch of shops in Ginza, mostly Rolex unfortunately. onbehalf would be amazing, but he is appointment only.

I was just in Shibuya. Their offerings look great. Will see if my gf lets me do more watch shopping when we're back in Tokyo haha

Our 7/11s back home are pretty gross. Amazing 2508. Precisely what I am after, slight leaning for one with lapped indices.

I was very adamant about getting a 570 but the waterproofing and beefier case of the 2508 swayed me.

Haha exactly. I was very into Speedmasters for a few years. I had 2 transitionals and a -69. My collection ballooned to about the value of a nice 2508. I think I would rather have just one Patek
