Very interesting and well written review, Mark. Some thoughts...
Not definitive thoughts, as I still have to see the watch in the real.
First of all, I like the case, its diameter, most of all, its lugs, too. Maybe a tad thick, though.
The bezel, I would have preferred a flat one, rather than this one. But I guess it was a mandatory solution, due to the thickness of the case.
The dial? Nice guilloché and the proportions of the different elements of the dial are good, but I am disturbed by the white background bearing the PP signature, and I don't like the small seconds, too centered. The rectangular indices are not my taste. I would have preferred round ones. I am not convinced by the luminous option, either.
Maybe this one lacks sensuality? The sensuality a 5110 or a 5230 has.

The 5230 doesn't move me enough away from the 5130 but then I am in the minority that I didn't like the 5110. I use a WT daily, I want to see the time zones easily and this will be the true test for the 5930. The challenge for me is which casual watch wil...

These 2 have almost the same market value at the moment. And they are from around the same production year as well. Which one should I choose?

reference sings to you more ? Do you prefer 1) the chrono + worldtime or just worldtime function, 2) guilloche on 5930 or the sunburst guilloche on 5130 ? , and/or 3) dauphine hands or scissors hands ? Personally I enjoy the 5130G more because of its icon...
