People I think will just need time to go for it as it is a little beauty. I saw the rose gold version again today and the more I see the 5230 and the more it might become my 1st choice before the 5110R (though I don't know in which version yet).
If you have a doubt just give it a little more time but I think that time will count in favor of the 5230 as time goes by for many clients.
Take your time but yes it is an excellent choice.

I find this to be the best version
The "basket weave" guilloche is a wonderful throwback to a vintage pocketwatch from Patek and a pattern rarely seen in modern times. The hour hand is my favorite of all 3 variants (5110 5130 and this). And to me the size is perfect too. Last but not least...
5130 hands down for me
Sensuous case, best ever & historic hands, brilliant in platinum, etc.. Second choice would be 5110. The 5230 is too boxy imo. All the very best, Alex

Don\'t get the basket weave guilloche and the selected colours....smaller case, trying to look more 5110? I don\'t know....definately didn\'t have my pull out the credit card
I tried it on today too
Had a chance to try it on today too. I\'ve tried it on couple times previously and I still prefer the previous model more. In certain light conditions, it\'s more difficult to tell time maybe becoz of the grey dial.
for me....
5110 top...for many reasons 5230...just a whisker behind the 5110 with 5130 coming in behind. The 5230 comes with a great deal of flair, in my opinion, and i think captures the evolution of the WT very well. But this is a subjective issue....
to me, the 5230 is better than 5130 on one thing only.
I like 5230 because it has no crown guard which makes it look more modern. Whether you like the basket weave pattern better than sunburst is entirely up to you. IMO The 5130 scissors hands is what makes 5130 equal if to certain extent better than 5230. Bo...
