... i have to agree, Patek has indeed moved much faster than before, afterall, they are running a business, also i think the demand for luxury items has sky rocketed. Back in the old days, with less demand, there is no need for patek to move in break neck speeds. Different now, with technology, this thing we call computer, people are dying for speed, speeds which they cant even handle.
We look at the total number of minute repeaters on patek's list, there are a total of 8 models, sometimes i ask myself, is there such a need for that many in their production ?! Maybe patek is trying to slow down, just look at this year's new models, maybe they are taking a breather. I think this is actually a good thing, lets all slow down a bit, and catch up with ourselves in terms of collecting, take a minute to enjoy them rather than chasing them.
