The eagles are "too strong" a subjects with too much tension. Nice as art pieces but not relaxing enough for minute repeater.
I wonder what the rule is at Patek Philippe about marking their watches.
I know that tourbillons always are marked 'Tourbillon' on the dial but what if it is a tourbillon striking watch?
Is the word 'Tourbillon' redundant?
I like the 'Delft' Blue Tile image on enamel dial as my favourite for a discreet watch with striking function. "To be heard and not seen".

Hi All, here is my (partially completed) post which aims to show photos of rare handcraft wrist watches that may not appear in the video on youtube and Patek's website.
There are some amazing enamel pieces with complications that "exceed" the 5531 ! What are your thoughts ? Cheers, Gordon p.s. photos are downloaded from a post written in Chinese and distributed on the internet for the audience in China by a watch blogger...

Hi Gordon, they are all of course beyond gorgeous, but my favorite from your pictures is probably the 5539 (azulejos), at least judging from the theme and the merry color:-)

Hi Langeholic, your question about the 5131 enamel work is an easy one for me to answer !
To me, the dial is not over-rated, especially if one can get a 5131 at retail price. IMO, the dial on my 5131G is absolutely beautiful in terms of vibrancy and color graduation.

This intensifies the charm and the mistery of the "Cinque Terre" (?) dial... I'm *really* curious now to figure out the exact location --- more than one of the five 'Terre', to me this looks a lot like a fantastic little borough on the sea called Boccadas...
