The definition of a killer watch? I tend to agree with you on what you said about a reduced collection. Only killers. That would be a great theme! [nt]

The longer I own this, the more I start to feel that I need way less watches in my collection! ...

I don't blame you Joe!

That watch is a sports watch, a dress watch, an accurate watch, a skeleton watch all in one!!

i am totally addicted [nt]

So if you ever get tired of your vintage perpetual patek

or split second chronograph, do think of me?!!

I thought so! :-)

One lives in hope

We might have to stage an intervention.

I will sacrifice my wrist and take this beauty off you for a bit, until you start rotating again. OK? Great.

I have been rotating for a decade....

 By: Baron - Mr Red : October 16th, 2018-04:53
....until now. It is a weird feeling not wanting to rotate.

it is my addiction [nt]

 By: Baron - Mr Red : October 16th, 2018-07:51

I'm sure it must be.

But am not looking to find out for myself.

Could this be your "exit" watch?

 By: crown comfort : October 16th, 2018-05:11
forget that thought...I think there is no such thing as an "exit watch"

my thinking......

 By: Baron - Mr Red : October 16th, 2018-07:23
.....is that if you plan an exit watch, it never works. If a watch becomes an exit watch, then....uhmmmm

crucial word being "hardly" [nt]

Did not expect this from someone holding a collection like yours....

 By: keks : October 16th, 2018-05:34
But indeed it is a great piece.... that and your 3448 would be a perfect two piece collection... I am still in the process of discovering what my #2 would be for a two piece setup... needless to say the 5650 would be in one spot!

to be clear......

 By: Baron - Mr Red : October 16th, 2018-06:02
.....i have no intention of reducing my collection in any big way. Although for the last year the 5650G has been on my wrist 75% of the time, I definitely like the option of wearing the others. I have worn all of my collection over the last year. I think ...

Do not think you will ever arrive at 2....

Just the good old thought exercise...

What would define "killer"?

 By: TheMadDruid : October 16th, 2018-09:23
I think one of you need to start a new thread on this subject after you've thought through what your own definition would be.

Congrats and wear it in good health.

Every time seeing a 5650G, I regret not request my AD to get me an allocation right at the time of its launch. Though giving its limited number of 500, the answer may well be the same. Best, Henry

Whoop there it is again. The T-800

โ€œIโ€™ll be backโ€

Same thoughts

 By: Joepny : October 16th, 2018-09:09
Though I donโ€™t own the amazing 5650G, I have come to the same conclusion over this year with my humble watches. I wear 2 of them regularly every week. The others get worn for a small percentage out of the whole time and I donโ€™t have a strong urge to wear ...

some call it a recurring nightmare

 By: Baron - Mr Red : October 17th, 2018-02:16
Others call it a dose of normality

I only have nightmares about the abnormal...

๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Sell me some of your others from your collection then. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I get it. Thatโ€™s a great watch M.

you know.....

 By: Baron - Mr Red : October 17th, 2018-06:06
.....if i had one of those 5960 white dials, i would willingly do so.
