It was a daring move when you consider the models being produced at the time. Just don’t mention the incredible 5070P, one of the all time greats.

The platinum version is a show stopper though.

Although I have gone on the record to say that to begin with I wasn’t smitten but it really has been a grower on me. Whilst I like them all for me these two are my favourite. The other strange thing is that the 42mm case really looks perfect on my medium ...  

I can put other 42mm watches on and they can look oversized. Another of the magical properties of the special 5070. Enjoy your watch my friend. M.
