Great points you raised Sham! For some reason i like the beauty of the rotor, rotating freely, and also when it's felt when wearing some watches. I'm going to look closer at the makers you mention. I am looking ideally for a Patek 5135. Not yet an expert, I've seen the manual references being on the 'entry levels' or non-complicated ones. But I need to do more research myself. thanks again.

manual winding watches which is strange as most of the watches I have are automatic. So why did I end up with more automatic watches than manual ones? Simply because whether or not a watch is manual or automatic when deciding on a watch is not as importan...
