Hi Emmanuel, I had on my wrist several of these advanced research pieces and was smitten the most with
5550 due to its thinness and brushed dial ! So great ! "Terminator" looks like an odd ball but so sought after !🤣 Thanks for a very good post 👍

Interesting post. I always wonder in the case of these 'innovations' does it actually make the watches better....
more accurate, more durable or more time between servicing. Not sure if Pateks have ever been at the forefront of making so called tough watches like say a company like Rolex.
My knowledge is limited, so my answer will be limited too.
All I know is that several of these innovations are currently used in several Patek Philippe calibers. And I tend to think that they are truly beneficial in terms of anti-magnestism and durability. But I could be wrong, of course, as I’m no watchmaker unf...

The minute repeater is to me, by far, the most compelling watch here

I'm not sure what the exact inspiration was for the central, circular wire-like....
elements, but to me the intricately woven wire circles remind me of some of the most beautiful automobile and motorcycle wheels from the early to mid 20th century.... 😍

In fact, several of these innovations
