Your review of the blue dial version was what I was reading when the picture you took of that next to the YG version side by side stood out and convinced me. While the Blue looks nice, it looked more sporty than dressy and what I was looking for was a dressy one as I already have a bunch of sporty watches.
A less common model seen anywhere too, and that's always something I like.
Took a while, and a lot of effort in persuasion, but this is now home with me
A very quick phone pic for now, not a great one where the yellow looks like white, but just took ownership of this very nice 5124J today. My first and possibly only precious metal watch, and one that broke my own perceptions on colored metal. More details...

Thanks, my friend. The shape is cool too. Very similar to my GP Vintage 1945 XXL, but also different at the same time. Very understated and comfortable though.
