You are right, saying "it's complete" is misunderstanding.
I started with the G and then got the 1A. One for elegant occasions, one for the sport use. I never really liked the R. But after having seen the GR, I thought this to be the perfect 5712 with elegant looks.
So for me it's reasonable, to let the G go. In the collection, GR presents the G and the R now

Nautilus trilogy
Now the trilogy is full 5712/1A, G and GR The GR is my favourite, very elegant. The G will probably go now......

If you had to let one go, perhaps the G is the right choice since its cold tones can be represented by the SS version.

My Nautilus Set
Here's my Nautilus trio. Personally, I don't quite fancy the G/R version. Compared with that of the R, the dial of the G/R looks rather "pale". Just my 2 cents. ...

While I wouldn't chase the G/R out of my watchbox if one fell in... much prefer the "single metal" versions. Great wrist shot, do you usually wear all three like that :) No one would blame you if you did!

But I do have the freaky habit of wearing three at a time. Different metals do have different characters. ...
Personally i have never liked the GR ...
and if given a choice.. that would be the first to go. Then again its me.. As someone said earlier, I also prefer 'single metal' color. I have a G and love it.. very understated.. and not too attention grabbing. Cheers !
