Would I be content if these were my only pieces is the question I suppose! The top two are getting plenty of wrist time. Thinking the bottom two would as well if decision was to make these four the collection. Hmmm... but there are so many other pieces th... 

with expected 5131P, 5170P and maybe new perpetual calibres as the current ones had already 20 years old (expiry rights) ????? Time will speak to our heart ;-)) or not.

there is also 59060 P black dial which is the rarest configuration... Did you eliminate it on purpose ? As for me I could easily consider SS and this 5960 P only, don't you think? Well in whatever configuration, they are all gorgeous... It's good to have ... 

Should be the Moscow - lower left quadrant. LE 100 pieces I believe. Although I love the ref, I think they have one big problem - the poor AR coating. Anybody else noticed this?? Come to think of it, the steel one was not as bad... ...  

Yes officially the Moscow at 100 is the rarest. However my steel is an even smaller batch a non-standard custom piece however: ...  

So in the interest of keeping it to one in each metal the black dial had to go on the R for me... I believe the black dial R with black date registers is quite small production as well. Slightly more commonly seen is the R with black dial and white date r... 

Now, I could also consider another quartet which is very dear to my heart: 5110P / 5070G / 5100 G / 5960A... Just to diversify the pleasures... Best, Nicolas

Every day 5960A is the right choice. But when dressing to business suit and placing a tie to the neck, 5960P is the right choice. Best, Kari

As another 5960 enthusiast, I understand the urge entirely, but encourage you to consider that there is nothing magical about quartet vs. trio vs. quintet vs. solo. I have the habit of buying two or three additional versions of whatever references I like ...

And only own the original 5960p. I think they are incredible watches technically and aesthetically. I think they are generally massively undervalued. Love the Chrono fly back feature and most importantly for me my eyes love it and it has a great wrist pre... 

and usually that makes a reference less interesting to many collectors. However this instance I struggle to dislike this no matter what. I tend to think it offers tremendous value for anyone looking to add an amazing piece to their collection!

I wondered myself if it was a kind of collector thing, a kind of natural temptation to gether many elements of a same kind or a true desire. I imagine that I would personally focus on how I would feel wearing them alternatively and I think I would need mo... 

Yes most likely not something I am going to pursue for now. But thought is quite appealing now that I have succumbed to the idea of having two of the same ref., perhaps that is enough of a testament to the appreciation I feel towards this particular ref.!...

but you would notice the same as I did: the steel version is taking 95% of the 5960 wrist time. And there are so many nice Patek around... Best, Kari

The amount of money I paid for my 5070P and 5960P equals the price of 5370P. And there would have been money left for a cheeseburger or two. It makes me wonder. Now I need to find the money for 5370P next year. Sometimes I wonder if I focus too much on qu... 

Both the 5070 and 5960 are equal in quality to 5370 they are just different but both exceptional as references in their own rights with their own unique qualities. The simple perfect scenario is quality and quality in the ideal world. You have beautiful q...

but for a chrono I prefer a manual wind and not an automatic ... So it will not be my first choice

All i can say is they are all nice chronographs. But 2 stand out for me the blue face white gold and the stainless steel. So this 2 are the ones to get on this reference. My opinion. But if you want all then by all means. Its a winning proposition. Cheers...
