Two watches that we had the pleasure to see in Zagreb - the Patek Philippe ref 5110 and 5575.
Two watches that share a lot, but in the same time are very different.
I find the 5110 WorldTime is a absolute stunning watch.
Clean and sober in design, charming from the very first second!
Have to admit that for a long time the White Gold/Silver dial was my favourite, but after looking at the blue dial again (and again, and again...) I must admit that the blue guilloche dial is absolutely stunning!
The way the dial shifts from grey-blue to blue-blue...
The 5575 on the other hand left me cold after first time I viewed in real.
Love the combination of WorldTime and Moon Phases... Very romantic!
But the execution left me cold. The "odd" way the Moon Phases are executed on the centre dial, the realistic moon... The thin minute hand...
After seeing the 5575 in real again, I start to warm up to the watch.
I still prefer a Moon Phase as on the 3448, I still prefer the WorldTime of the 5110, I still think the minute hand would benefit if larger...
But the case is just magic!

What can I say - a fantastic pair we not often see side-by-side!

I would personnally rather choose the the 5110 for wearing,

Forgetting exclusivity and just focusing on

I am trying hard to not have favourites amongst my watches.....
.....and to be honest, with these two it is quite easy NOT to have a favourite. They both do different things. Both a propos in the right context.
