Patek Philippe

Friends, Two watches that we had the pleasure to see in Zagreb - the Patek Philippe ref 5110 and 5575. Two watches that share a lot, but in the same time are very different. I find the 5110 WorldTime is a absolute stunning watch. Clean and sober in design...

Both the 5110P and 5575G are lovely and deserve big love. To me, both have pros only, and if one has to choose between these two references, the choice will depend on the ranking of each pro. Pros of 5110: excellent guilloche dial, balanced proportion, an... 

(if I ever came close to a choice like that😄), but I really really like the transition from case to lugs on the 5575, too!! Quite unusual and very gorgeous shape! Thanks for posting! Best, HGL

I consider the 5110 P as a musthave, and the 5575 as a (very very very) nice to have You know my sweet spot for the 5110 P... I'm sure that any 5110 P owner is extremely happy to have it, and anybody who had one but had to let it go must be dreaming to ha...

aesthetic perfection and pure enjoyment the 5110P wins. This is all subjective of course, but like sipping classified Bordeaux of a great vintage sometimes you're just right. Not taking away from the 5575 I love it. 5110P is just tops. Having said that I ...

I admit I'm much more drawn towards the layout and case shape of the 5110. What the photo though shows very nicely is the warmer silver tone of the white gold when compared with platinum, something I very much like on White Gold. So I think the 5110G is s...

.....and to be honest, with these two it is quite easy NOT to have a favourite. They both do different things. Both a propos in the right context.
