Patek Philippe

This is my lovely 5905 joining with me at work today. When the dial catches the light at the correct angle, it is absolutely stunning. That said, most of the time, especially indoors the colour is duller than in this photo. At least that is my experience ...

I had a similar experience, but it wasn’t because both watches arrived at the same time. Personally, I love my 5905, the dial is wonderful catching the sunlight dancing on the e dial. I’m sure it will look just as special in ten years time. Best regards C...

I have had similar thoughts and reservations about adding a colored gold watch. I like how they look, but not the attention. Patek is very nice in this green dial variant.

Would you consider 5711 in full gold or a future 5811 if offered 😉😉?? Decisions, decisions …

tbh I would have chosen in this case the Rolex because I am not a fan of the 5905 bracelet... but for sure this is more wearable and no safe queen - enjoy!

Since this is the Patek forum, glad that you picked this 5905 over the Daytona, but I am biased 😉 Since this is a big watch, how does it wear on your wrist ?

I am not a big lad and my wrist size is 16.5cm. This does not wear big at all. It is not uncomfortable on the wrist either.

Patek over Rolex for me any day. Rolex makes some great iconic pieces but the mere fact that their watch is named after some two but celebrity is a turn off for me. Apologies to the John Mayer fans. 5905 is a stunner and one of my favorite pieces. ...
