Rediscovering my 5711
I haven’t worn this watch in a looong time. Being at home gives the opportunity to revisit my collection and shift between pieces throughout the day. However putting on this piece, I didn’t really feel like putting on something else. I am completely in love again. It is just such a great watch. Perfectly balanced, comfortable, beautiful and legible. Yes, I love it!

I guess because it was left in the bank with most of my other watches. I’m a creature of habit. Must say I am really enjoying it all over again 😊

It’s a keeper for me, despite all the bs that is written about this piece.
Yes, lots of BS. Some of it perhaps more understandable when considering secondary market / grey prices.
But as it was intended, at retail price, yes it’s perhaps a little on the expensive side for what it is but there’s a “ large amount of perfect” in the whole package that is hard to put a fair price on.

A very enjoyable timepiece! Cleaning the bracelet can be somewhat time consuming though, if you wear it often!
I give it a rinse occasionally followed by a soft cloth.
I feel I done wear it often enough now that it’s on my wrist. Luckily the summer is ahead of us so I’m planning to make up for it 😊
