The Nautilus scratches easily (particularly the bezel and the bracelet). Get used to it - it’s part of the ownership experience. I wouldn’t bother polishing it at all - even through a Patek service centre - except perhaps every 10 or 15 years if you really must. The bezel and bracelet will develop a pleasing patina with time. But whatever you do, avoid polishing the piece yourself at all costs. That would be a sure fire way to throw up to $10k or even more down the drain for nothing. Patek can try to sort out the inevitable mess at the next servicing, but this may not be possible - many bad polishing jobs cannot be reversed. The Nautilus is one the most intricate and difficult-to-polish case designs in the industry. It requires an experienced virtuoso hand and the right equipment. If you try to do this, you will destroy it. It’s like a novice pianist trying to play Liszt.
