The best thing to do would be to ask Patek to do it.

i think there is more chance of doing damage than not.....

Not a good idea ! Please do not try that with your Nautilus. If your iconic watch...

requires a spa, it deserves one. Please show us photos afterwards.

Since you ask - comes with do it at your own risk clause - first get to know diff between polishing n buffing. then get a feel of 800 and 1000 grit emery paper. It can be purchased..

...at a jewelry supplier (pm me if you need a ref). Proper way wud be to take out the crystal. lay and fix the paper flat on a hard surface - 'flat shear' the bezel firmly against the 800 grit a few (3-6) vertical strokes till deeper bruises are flattened...

actually...for the record.....

But this is perhaps the worst advice I have ever seen on this forum. DO NOT FOLLOW this advice under any circumstances.

Definitely not worth it if you want to preserve the value of your watch

There is a reason why the Nautilus is worth north of 50k on the secondary market. Would you polish a Ferrari F-12 when you scratch the door panel? Sometimes you just need to send it in and let the experts do what they do best!

Please DO NOT do this

The Nautilus scratches easily (particularly the bezel and the bracelet). Get used to it - it’s part of the ownership experience. I wouldn’t bother polishing it at all - even through a Patek service centre - except perhaps every 10 or 15 years if you reall...

I am not sure what would devalue...

.. your watch more, trying to polish it yourself or let Bamford touch it. Even if you knew what you were doing, the techs at PP get training and practice and eventually are qualified to perform tasks like this. You have one watch and one shot to get it ri...

You could just grit blast it. Then it would look like a Bulgari Octo Ti 😬 Velociphile

I was given a tour of the service center in Munich a few months ago. I had an extensive chat with a lady there who does the service polish. She said it takes a very long time to learn how to polish a Nauilus. The shape is so special- that the slightest im...
