Patek Philippe

Phillips is auctioning a 1518 in steel that they sold 9 years ago (for all the money in the world)

It’s the same wristwatch, 863'193, that set a record in 2016, and the first steel 1518 - somewhat important to Patek history as it inspired later steel comps (like the 5004). While its a very nice watch in its own right the focus here is more economic that horological--the high estimate is probably enough to buy one of every non-gemsetted reference in the current Patek Philippe catalog.

A dealer tepidly starting soliciting offers for another steel 1518 earlier this year, starting at 20 million USD, this auction should determine a reasonable price for that watch. That one is on a bracelet too, it seems neither are original to the watches (though the latter's extract mentions it was originally delivered with one back in the day) but both look period correct.

Hits the block in Novemeber, Phillips is posting a bunch of photos on their social medias to promote it.

Btw the only known ref. 3448 in rose gold sold for over 3 million USD just a few months ago.
