Patek Philippe ref. 1536

Probably not as new to many of you as it is to me, but how could I not share this absolutely amazing reference (which was evoked on this site by Roni M in 2008 and in 2014)?

Rose gold 35mm case with oversized conical lugs crafted by Geneva master casemaker Wenger.

Powered by the 12’’’120 indirect sweep centre seconds movement.

Simply jaw-dropping, imo.

My favorite version is the first one, with silvery rose gold Stern dial featuring hard-raised enamel signature and scale, baton hands, and blued steel seconds hand.

Enjoy!

@johnbehalf are from John Nagayama (it’s his IG account). And the photos credited to “on behalf” come from his online shop, but the displayed pieces aren’t for sale anymore. I think I could have found it hard to resist if the one on strap had been for sal...

Thank you for sharing this photo.

This one speaks to my heart very dearly and I wasn't expecting such a beauty. Would love to own one and, at least, to see one in the metal.

Exactly!

And all the rest is perfect too: blued seconds hand, raised enamel signature and scale, applied Roman numerals...

and its probably the latter making this piece less attractive to me personally, combined with the "phillips factor": meaning this one pulled what i consider to be a crazy amount of money; but still congrats to the buyer.
