Oh yes, I understood Mark. I have been winding all my 'not worn' watches
too:-) My rationale was that if they are left unwound, the oils may dry up
but I suppose it all depends on how long they are left unwound.

Not too much winding
It is better not to wind them so often, they will wear out much less. In the mean time, winding them once iin a while keeps the oils work properly on the long run.

Is completely useless to wind watches you don't wear, even if not worn for long periods (months). There is any advantage, just worthless wear of the mechanism. Regards
