Patek Philippe

Off topic: Patek Philippe + Modest vehicle, anyone?

My peers ridicule me for wearing a watch that is worth more than my automobile (5065a, purchased pre-owned). I always tell them it's a matter of priorities. The Aquanaut will still be ticking long after even my '00 Toyota Corolla, which is nonetheless a durable, reliable machine. I was just wondering if anyone was in the same boat as me! In order to feed a passion, we cut back on something else. In this case, I'll have a fine timepiece and the stripped down mobility that is point A to point B.

--A Kawai Grand instead of a Steinway & Sons or Bechstein (Music major in college)
--Toyota instead of an Infiniti (I love Japanese and that G37 coupe still tempts me!)
Oh, and I wish I could attend the Skip Barber Racing School down in Monterey, CA, but that $3,999 could be saved for a PP, haha.
--A Lamy 2000 Fountain Pen instead of a limited edition Pelikan or Nakaya (I love fountain pens)
--I cook, cook, cook. I keep eating out to a minimum.

I thought it would be fun to see what we sacrifice in order to feed our horological appetite. What are your sacrifices?
