Patek Philippe

The owner of this watch already owned the 5970G but he was so enamoured by the platinum version he now has two variants of the same model. This is apparently one of the last 5970 produced. Even though the watches are nearly identical, both are very differ...  

After looking at the pictures numerous times, I can't help but to say that the 5970P looks a lot more modern than the 5970G. Both beautiful but really a total different vibe. One modern and one more classic feel. Perfect duo. As for the 5016, it's just a ...

First: many, many thanks for this brilliant post! Pictures from the 5016R are always very much appreciated. And they are not blur at all, very nicely taken, actually. The same with your Lange Homage post! But how come that a 5016R is sold with its own boo... 

Although the watch is small, it has presence on the wrist due to the contrast of the rose gold and black dial, as well as its thickness. - SJX

And so the purchases were concluded.... and followed by a celebratory dinner at Morton's of Chicago which also doubled a a test venue for the repeater. The restaurant was noisy but the repeater was clearly audible from across the table so it passed. Morto...  

Also from me. What a "session" with some (I assume) friends and those beauties. Even better a nice dinner to celebrate The Ref. 5016 is such a marvel and the size 36,8mm is just perfect. Thanks for sharing SJX. Oliver

thank you very much for sharing!! And of course, an automatic watch-winder is available for manual wind watches, but I don't think I would want my 5016 constantly under tension in a winder...

I am drooling on my keyboard! Those are two of the hottest watches!! Amazing!

Thanks for reporting on this in such detail - it's really a treat to be a virtual witness to such a rare event. My congratulations to the purchasers, not as much for the ownership of such watches but instead for having hopefully achieved enough that such ... 

These were what seperate men from the boys !!!

Aside from 5970P, 5016 in any metals is something I would like to have someday..... IMHO, its one of the best complications and another one of the most good looking classics I would die to have....! Enjoy it and please wear them both always instead of put...

an incredibly exquisite watch the 5016R is. Not that the other two aren't brilliant, just that the 5016R really appeals to my taste. Thanks for such good photos!
