Only you could call a Patek Philippe "a daily beater" 
I agree with the advice to get the metal bracelet upfront, even if a strap is the usual fastening. For some unknown reason, when the bracelet is purchased later as an after-market accessory, it costs more than if it was purchased as the primary equipment on the original watch purchase.

5167 for hot destination but I personally like 5711 blue dial for its classic, sporty look and daily beater. You won't regret buying either one.
