Moon phase and Voodoo
I never realized that the moon phase is related with Voodoo. It would be nice to know how this combination actually works as I am not familiar with voodoo.
For me the moon phase is an useful complication. As a hunter and as a diver I am interested to know the state of the moon circle. Additionally, in my opinion the moon phase looks simply great. If you are not interested about the actual position of the moon, you can adjust the moon phase to follow the circle of your wife. If I would do that, full moon would actually mean "go for a 3-4 days business trip".
I'm happy that you enjoy your 5035 Annual Calendar. My passion are the perpetual calendars and i.e. 5140 is just 0.2 mm bigger than 5035 but much slimmer.

I have a 3940
and I would say it fulfills the definition "dress watch" even it has a moon phase indicator. And in that specific watch I am very happy to have the moon phase indicator together with the perpetual calendar. Best, Kari

I was referring to your prior post that the moon phase is useful for hunting and fishing. Personally, I wouldn't use the 3940 for hunting or fishing either.

For diving and hunting 3712 and the dress watch 3940 is assisting me to predict the mood of my wife with the help of the moon phase. There are no complications I could not use! Best, Kari
