I never realized that the moon phase is related with Voodoo. It would be nice to know how this combination actually works as I am not familiar with voodoo. For me the moon phase is an useful complication. As a hunter and as a diver I am interested to know...

The 5035 is a dress watch. Following the moon on a sports watch would be great for hunting and fishing, I just don't think it has a place on a Patek dress type watch. But then again, I didn't think these small calibers should be put into the current large... 

and I would say it fulfills the definition "dress watch" even it has a moon phase indicator. And in that specific watch I am very happy to have the moon phase indicator together with the perpetual calendar. Best, Kari

I was referring to your prior post that the moon phase is useful for hunting and fishing. Personally, I wouldn't use the 3940 for hunting or fishing either.

For diving and hunting 3712 and the dress watch 3940 is assisting me to predict the mood of my wife with the help of the moon phase. There are no complications I could not use! Best, Kari
