I have had mine for over 2 years now and the black strap is still uncut.

i know what i want .. and i also know what i can reasonably expect to get ... i truly truly truly want the new 5711 with that lovely olive green dial and so i sat one on one with my AD... by the end of the meeting i knew it was not meant to. be ...BUT ......

Very hard for me to feel sorry for you not getting the 5711! You should be delighted you got a better watch with a more usefull functionality! That one is on my list for some time, congratulations and wear in the best of health.
