Hi all,

how can you say it is a ref 570 without knowing the diameter and/or movement?
There have been quite a lot of Calatrava shaped references in SS, some only 28mm in diameter...
We will only know if we see the inner case back and the movement.
If there is no ref# inside we can only narrow down if we knew the precise diameter.
Just my thoughts...

Looks like a rare Steel Ref 570 to me...open the case back and see. if it is that could have been quite valuable if in good condition which this doesn't appear to be. Roni

Something desnt seem right here!! Perhaps it is just a poor redial, or maybe the whole watch isnt right. Remove the back and investergate!!

Hi, In fact it makes me think more of a re-cased pocket watch dial (and calibre). There's something that annoys me with the case. If you can get it opened or get a picture of the calibre we will know. Do you know the diametre? Best Dje

Hi, This is ref.570 steel. The watch looks manufactured in early 40's. I used have a similar one in the past. Thanks, Jonn

Hi John and myself may well be wrong in that it isn't a SS 570 but the opinion was not based on just speculation. The image of the dial shown has a uniqueness attributed to a batch of early SS 570's dials.The SS 570 case is slightly larger than the regula...
