In the old days....
MR was great, but the watch industry has moved on. Chinese and others now offer MR so it really is not that big a deal as it once was. Today you want all-axis turbillion and not just on a plain flat plane. Hour and minute, make them jump or on some other complicated mechanism. The list goes on with modern innovation and complexity.
Patek is great for what was possible years ago and classic old-scool reworkings, but nowadays look towards what independants and others are doing for a wide variety of possibilities that are not typical 'off-the-shelf' complications.
