I would disagree...

 


for eg the Euro as been much stronger than the US dollar for more than five years
Moreover the shape of the European economy is quite decent (if you compare it with the global economy)
European companies have solid foundations. Lets take the banks and the auto companies- please take a look at the figures for BMW or Mercedes vis a vis GM or Chrysler
Look at the long term retention of household property in the US and Europe. The european banks are much stronger and the only reason they had problems is because they invested in US bank funds.
I would certainly not call the Euro a joke- it is like calling the economies of the countries that have a Euro a joke and thus, in turn, these countries a joke.
Lastly, the Monetary Union was established on the majority of the general will of the people of EU and their governments and it will certainly not collapse- unless you envisage Germany and France collapsing lol

When wavve C of he Bear market hits you will be able to buy things for pennies on the Dollar. This is the first shoe to drop their are more to come Commerical Real Estate, The Dollar and then wait till all the money we have printed hits. Just like Germany...
