I wish I could afford that! The 5131p to me is a bit disappointing since you must buy it on the platinum bracelet which is incredibly heavy. The 5178 is the star as the show as I mentioned in my first reaction on Purists. Your picture proves it even more ... 

with the 5078G. Breguet numerals, enamel cream dial, a wearable 38mm - I hope I will be allowed to try one on during the private showing I have on Sunday. Only 20 minutes so I shall have to discriminate!

I would trade off the cathedral gongs for the (for me) better size of the 5078. Take some pics if you get the opportunity. Regards M

About to arrange the sale of my car in early April to help fund the purchase!

I am just struggling at the moment with the colour configuration. For me a MR needs to be Rose gold so hopefully this will follow and give me plenty of time to save. Some car you must have there my friend. Looking forward to your comments after your viewi... 

Rose gold provides one of the best resonance for a minute repeater. I noticed this during a minute repeater workshop organised by Patek last year. It sounds a lot clearer than say a platinum case minute repeater does. I hope however that the white gold ca... 

And Rose is always the crispest cleanest sound in my opinion any way oh and Mr S\'s. I still long over the 5074r and for me the CG\'s are music to my ears. So that\'s why I am interested in the CG\'s in the 5178 but will need to wait for the Rose version ... 

There was a chap at the event at Stoke Park (if you had gone to the one organised by Berrys) who was wearing the 5078R. It looked great but I was partial to the 7000R with my small wrist. For a lover of all things Daniels and Roger Smith to agree on the s... 

but I assume sound of WG is close to RG and wonder if I could tell the difference of any metal with my eyes closed. I don't think the 5078 will show up again in RG, but who knows?

Is the 5372 a salmon dial or is a gold dial ? If salmon is it the usual Patek salmon dial or diff shade ? Iqbal
