I think you are right
We are certainly becoming more casual and active. Water resistance certainly has not kept me from purchasing certain watches that I really like. But I do feel it would just improve the overall customer experience, or at least mine, if the watches that are being designed to meet this trend of sporty and yet suitable for an office environment if there was the added feature of being wearable in moderate water exposure like a swimming pool.
Again, it had not been a deal breaker for me. Just more of a wishlist item.
