I think the desirable situation
would be if allocation pieces do not appear in the used market so soon after the launch of the watch, at least for the first two years anyway. Patek UK with hold the certificate of origin for the 5131R so if they can do that, surely the same could apply to the 5650G. Potential buyers should be informed of this before they place their orders to weed out the speculators.

....it actually makes me fume to see this watch being flipped. For a limited edition that is an allocation watch, something is going wrong when so many are being allocated to people who are flipping them immediately. Just wrong.

If PP really wanted to crack down on resellers it would be easy for them to narrow down where each watch originated. However it is a marketplace and if someone wishes to pay a premium for an item I can not see it being wrong. Naturally if ADs knowingly so...
