.....i was too pre-ooccupied with the 5131P and so was too slow to the 5650G party. This is one that I really wish could become a part of my collection, but I applied too late and the watch is in such high demand. I find the watch fascinating on many leve... 

I just spoke to my AD an hour ago and apparently the UK allocation was not as good as expected. Perhaps quite a number went to the Salon so ADs received two or three (that is not two or three per shop but two or three for their entire network!). Definitel...

....it actually makes me fume to see this watch being flipped. For a limited edition that is an allocation watch, something is going wrong when so many are being allocated to people who are flipping them immediately. Just wrong.

Patek should actually have an investigative team to check out the sellers of these watches and to identify the origin of the watches The relevant ADs should then be informed that these customers should be blacklisted.

If PP really wanted to crack down on resellers it would be easy for them to narrow down where each watch originated. However it is a marketplace and if someone wishes to pay a premium for an item I can not see it being wrong. Naturally if ADs knowingly so... 

The Advanced Research family of watches have always showcased technical innovations from patek, but this one is different. The cut out part showing the mechanism highlights the fact that oils are not needed, and therefore can be exposed to direct sunlight...
