I prefer smaller watches so to my eyes they look slightly big. But only slightly as the lugs don’t massively overhang the edge of the wrist but they sit just on it. Personally I would say a ~34mm round watch of the same style could look better.
It all boils down to personal taste.
If you think it's fine, then never mind what others think. I have seen many petite ladies wearing Panerai watches.

The bezel and dial blend together and it looks at least 2mm larger. Best, Robert
Honestly...if you love it, go for it...
Traditionally speaking, looks a wee bit big, maybe off by a 1 to 2 mm situation. However, this is such a gorgeous reference, I think you'll be forgiven by everyone!! Rishi
